It is long process to build your own hand hewn home in the bush. This was a 2 year process from cutting and gathering the trees, debarking and foundation preparation. Then the building begins, picture three show our "Gin Pole" a method for raising logs into place with little manpower. Our good friend and neighbor Bill Moss is helping place the windows.
