If you want a real Alaskan Aurora Adventure, this is the tour for you! The combination of travel by dog sled and an overnight stay at a rustic cabin north of Fairbanks, includes the perfect opportunity for viewing the Northern Lights. Lots of opportunities for seeing wildlife and taking great photos!This is a challenging but not difficult trail. Good physical condition is a must and our Mushing School is prerequisite. Winter outerwear, gear and food are included. Weather conditions may require postponement. We will not travel in dangerous conditions. Please keep this in mind when making your reservation.

10am our dog mushing guide will take you on a scenic drive to Lincoln Ridge, the home of our dog kennel. You will complete our Mushing School and learn the basics of dog mushing and acquire the skills necessary to go on a multiple day dog mushing tour – then we harness up the teams and hit the trail.The exciting trail to our rustic bush cabin will take several hours. We will arrive at the cabin, take care of our dog teams, then settle in for a hot evening meal and hope for the Northern Lights to dance for us.

9am – Breakfast. Then we load the sleds, harness the dogs and start another exciting mushing day back towards civilization. Upon arrival at the kennel we will take care of the dogs, have hot drinks and a snack. Then our guide will return you to your lodging in Fairbanks.
