Arctic Circle with Jim
Thank you for the Artic Circle tour! In addition to seeing to Yukon River, traveling on the Dalton Highway & passing the Arctic Circle, you will see wonderful views of the mountains & wildlife along the way. Jim, our guide, taught us alot about the local wildlife. Be sure to ask him about his own experiences and survival adventures! When you stop in Joy, AK, if Joe is in, be sure to get a tour of his place.
Our family spent the 10th of July with Ralf on a tour to the Arctic Circle. Much applause is due! We had an exceptional trip and learned so many new things about “stuff” in Alaska that we will likely be talking about this trip for many years. We are thankful for the experiences shared that often had nothing to do with the scenic point at which we were looking, but about life in Alaska in general. The best part was how accomodating Ralf was for our family who spoke no English. Our entire tour was in German and this too added to an exceptional experience for family who may or may not have another chance to visit the interior of Alaska. Thank you and we look forward to visiting with you again in the future.

Three of us did the Dog Sledding tour with 1st Alaska Outdoor School and had the most amazing time. Not only did we get to meet our dogs but we were taught the art of Mushing. This was such a wonderful treat. This was by far one of the best tours we have taken. Our guides we the greatest! Thank you all!

I’ve contacted 1st Alaska Outdoor School in order to make several activities in winter because we were (my mother and me) tired of the hot weather in Colombia. This company provided 2 excellents activities such as dog sledding tour and aurora seeing in Chena hots springs. Those were the best experience in our lifes, Nita and Johs were very very worried about our safety (they provided us clothes scarfs, and all necesary to the tour) and pleasure in the trip with the dogs, the dogs were very beautifull, we have now them in our mind for ever. The aurora seeing was a very nice experience,we started to see the aurora just leaving Fairbanks, and when our toru guide saw that, he stoped the car on the road in an adecuated place to take pictures and see that wonderfull show of nature. I recomend this company for vacations in Alaska, it was the best experience of our lifes.

Had two wonderful tours during my stay in Fairbanks. I had a wonderful dog sled, dinner and northern lights tour with Josh which was outstanding. Would highly recommend this tour to everyone. Ralf was an amazing guide to the Arctic Circle in very cold weather conditions. These tours were everything expected and even more. I hope to be back and take the 3 day Prudhoe trip which looks amazing! Thanks again for wonderful memories and a wonderful birthday!

Hi Ralf, Yvette and I would like to thank you and your suppliers for helping to make our trip to Alaska a very good and memorable one. Particularly please pass on our thanks to Josh and Nita who made us welcome in their home. The day we spent with them getting to know them and their dogs was one of the highlights of the trip along with Josh’s cooking. We would love to come back and spend more time with them. In addition Ben was amazing during the trip to the Arctic Circle, he made the long journey interesting with his stories and history. He was also the ultimate professional which was reasuring considering the environment and road we were travelling through. Ralf, This is the first opportunity we have had to say how much we enjoyed our day tour to the Arctic Circle with your driver, Dawn. My wife Julia and I were the only two passengers on the bus, but Dawn chatted to us throughout the trip, explaining points of interest and taking time out to look at the scenery etc. We both had a lovely day out and will use your company next time we visit Alaska. Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide. We had several wonderful tours and guides during our two-week visit in Alaska, but the Fairbanks area tour was one of our favorites, thanks mainly to our guide, Leon.
