THREE DAYGates of the Arctic National Park” and Arctic Ocean/Prudhoe Bay. This tour will provide you with the best chance to spot our Alaska wildlife in its natural habitat and to get an understanding for the “Great land, Alaska”.

 

 

 


Winter Program

Nov. 1st - Apr. 10th

Every year more people visit Alaska and Fairbanks in the winter time.

The main attractions are the marvelous Aurora Borealis also called Northern Lights, Dog Mushing or Dog Sledding, and Ice Fishing.

Alaska is a winter wonderland. - Fun filled day activities and the magnificent Aurora Borealis Tours at night can be enjoyed in a safe manner even in extreme sub 0 temperatures. To travel in arctic winter condition takes experience and the right winter clothing.

1st Alaska Outdoor School provides arctic gear (boots, pants, parkas, mittens) for outdoor activities. Our well trained local guides will present to you the best Aurora Borealis viewing spots outside the Fairbanks city lights and light pollution.

These sites are carefully selected so our guests have a maximum chance to experience the “Dancing of the Northern Lights”.
